Most people go thru the wars at some stage of their life. However few return as mind fucked and altered as our early diggers did.
For many Australians Anzac day serves as a reflective time , to pay tribute to those who served their nation, to have a thought about those that suffered and to celebrate the relative peacefulness we have lived in ever since.
You'd be surprised though how many of them still have a gun stashed somewhere just in case.
